Our Gear Buying Process
At Good Wolf Gear, we're happy to buy your clean and lightly-used gear to keep it in nature and out of basement closets or overflowing landfills. We buy outright, so no waiting for the gear to sell or need to box and ship your gear anywhere.
1. Inspect your gear to ensure it's clean and functional.
2. Bring it to the store to be evaluated. We set the resale price based on condition, demand, our inventory needs and most recent market pricing. For greater than 5 items, we kindly ask for 24 hours to evaluate your gear.
3. Receive 25% of the resale price in cash, or 50% of the resale price in store credit. Store credit doesn’t expire and can be used immediately. Cash transactions greater than $25 will be reimbursed via PayPal.
4. Tell your story. We know it can be hard to say goodbye. If you have special memories of that loyal backpack that got you through your first thru-hike, or there’s a reason your sleeping bag smells faintly of bananas, let us know! We want to pass these stories along to the next owner so we can honor yours as they begin theirs.

Dog Gear
Beds, boots, bowls, collars, harnesses, leashes, life jackets, packs, vests

Footwear
Boots, climbing shoes, gaiters, hiking shoes, water shoes

Sleep Systems
Hammocks, outdoor blankets, sleeping bags, sleeping pads

Tents & Shelters
Backpacking, camping, rooftop

Other Gear
Camp furniture, flashlights, headlamps, lanterns, multitools, trekking poles
Not Sure We'll Accept Your Gear?
These are the items we are currently not accepting:
Bikes and cycling gear; electronics; fishing equipment; food and beverages; ski and snowboard equipment; sports equipment; sunglasses; undergarments; used helmets; used reservoirs and water bladders
We can not buy items that are excessively unclean or damaged to the point of having lost functionality. Anything we can not accept may be taken back or will be donated to a local organization.

Return Policy (Updated)
New items can be returned in unused condition and in original packaging within 30 days. The return can be processed in the original form of payment, or store credit. The following new items cannot be returned: food, fuel, hygiene products, and gift cards.
Used items returned within 3 days will be evaluated for a refund in store credit. Used items cannot be returned after 3 days.
