Did you know that Good Wolf Gear now consigns stand-up paddleboards (SUPs)?
We're on the lookout for a limited number of gently used paddleboards—especially inflatables with paddles included—to help our neighbors get outside and hit the water this summer. If you’ve got a board collecting dust, now’s the perfect time to clear out some space and pass it on. Just give us a call before you come to make sure have space available. And if you’re looking to gear up, give us a call to check out what’s in stock!
Popular local paddleboarding spots include Riverbend Park and other launch points along the Potomac River. In fact, Riverbend Park will be offering stand-up paddleboard (SUP) lessons on Sundays throughout the 2025 season—a perfect opportunity to learn the basics or refine your skills in a beautiful, natural setting, with no equipment or experience required.
If you don’t have your own gear, rentals are available at Occoquan Regional Park and Pohick Bay Regional Park—or feel free to bring your own SUP to hit the water at those NOVA Parks. While Fairfax County doesn’t allow paddleboards on county lakes, Reston Association members can enjoy access to four beautiful Reston lakes with a free boating pass, and SUP rentals at Lake Anne Plaza are open to the public, so anyone can enjoy a sunny day at the lake.
We’ve also got all the accessories you need for your next water adventure—Goodr sunglasses, Koala phone harnesses to keep you phone safe, Chums eyeglass retainers, floating wallets, and splash bags to keep your valuables safe and dry. Swing by, gear up, and make some unforgettable memories this summer!
